Inerrancy and the Human Writers

Some argue that because humans wrote the Bible, it must contain human error.

But inspiration means:

• God guided the writers
• God preserved them from error
• God ensured the accuracy of what they wrote

The writers used their own vocabulary, style, and personality, but the Holy Spirit superintended the process so that the final product was exactly what God intended.

This is why Scripture can be both:

• fully human in expression
• fully divine in origin

And still without error.
