Why Inerrancy and Infallibility Matter
If the Bible contains errors:
- Doctrine becomes uncertain
- Morality becomes subjective
- Salvation becomes unclear
- The authority of Scripture collapses
But because the Bible is inerrant and infallible:
- We can trust its promises
- We can obey its commands
- We can defend its teachings
- We can build our lives upon it
A fallible Bible cannot produce an infallible faith.
